In the first part of the curricula, you will first complete the seven basic modules to gain basic knowledge about sustainable procurement.
Afterwards, in curricula A we pay attention to the challenges of strategic purchasing in five specialization modules. The argumentation for sustainable procurement with the management in the context of a business case plays a major role here. You will also learn how to define the appropriate key figures and how to develop a sustainability program for procurement. You can support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) very well, so we present you some sustainable procurement measures specifically aligned to the SDGs. To successfully implement all these measures, intensive communication work is necessary so that not only your employees and superiors, but also internal stakeholders and suppliers are well informed and actively involved.
In the third part of the curriculum you choose three of the offered additional modules to further deepen your knowledge depending on your interests and topic prioritization.
Upon successful completion of the 15 modules of the curricula, you will receive a confirmation of participation from the JARO Institute with a list of all modules completed.
If you would like to receive the official certification as "Certified Sustainable Procurement Professional", please select curricula A with certification. For this purpose, the additional participation in the two-day attendance event of the IEDC Bled School of Management and a written submission as an examination paper are required.
