In the first part of the curricula, you will first complete the seven basic modules to gain basic knowledge about sustainable procurement.
Subsequently, curricula B will deal intensively with the topic of supplier management, since long-term and partnership-based cooperation with your suppliers is a major lever for sustainable procurement. We first address the topic of price determination and explain the differences between Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and why it is so important to also consider external costs. Then you will learn how to better understand and evaluate the sustainability performance of suppliers using sustainability reports and ratings. Another important point is the responsible development of suppliers, e.g. through targeted training measures, from which both sides benefit. The last of the five specialization modules will show you how you can use the innovative power of suppliers to increase their joint sustainability performance.
In the third part of the curricula, you select three of the additional modules offered to further deepen your knowledge depending on your interests and topic prioritization.
After successful completion of the 15 modules of the curricula, you will take part in the two-day attendance event at the IEDC Bled School of Management. You will then be able to exchange information more intensively with the other participants and trainers and prepare for your written submission as an examination paper. Upon passing the examination, you will receive the international certificate of the Certified Sustainable Procurement Professional" of the IEDC including 6 ECTS points which can be credited to further study courses.
